From the beacon detail Settings view, tap on the Actions menu and select the DFU action. When prompted, submit a valid PIN to execute the Boot to DFU action to transition the beacon to firmware update mode.

I do not have the DFU option? The rest of the menu looks exactly the same on my iPad.
What does DFU do and mean?
